By accessing or using MetalDate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this social platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

User Conduct

• You agree to use the site for lawful purposes only.
• You will not post or transmit any offensive, abusive, or illegal content.
• You will not harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• You will not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• You will not attempt to defeat, manipulate, or falsify our verification checks — for example by submitting photographs or recordings of another person, or images or video that have been digitally altered, morphed, or artificially generated.
• You are responsible for the content you post and your interactions with other users.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason at our discretion.

Disclaimer

MetalDate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or results of using the site.

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This section explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Email

To register on MetalDate, you are required to provide and validate your email address. This helps us combat spam, limit the creation of multiple accounts, and ensure we can safely resend your login information if needed.

We guarantee that:

• Your email address will never be disclosed to third parties.
• We will never send you spam.
• Your email address will not be visible to other users, bots, or anyone else. It is securely stored in our database and used internally only when necessary.

The emails you may receive from us include:

• A confirmation email after registration, containing a link to complete the registration process.
• [Optional] Notifications about new messages when you are offline, if you choose to enable this option.
• Notifications about mutual matches with other users.
• Emails you request, such as password recovery or account-related assistance.

Phone Number

To validate your account, you are now required to provide and verify your phone number. This additional step helps us combat spam and ensure a safer environment for all users. Your phone number is securely stored in our database and will never be shared with third parties or displayed to other users.

Photos You Upload

Pictures you add to your profile are shown to other users according to the setting you choose for each one (public, private, or draft). Our moderators may review any picture you upload to check that it follows the site rules. When you delete a picture, it is removed from our servers.

Identity Verification (Selfie and Face Check)

Verification is optional. You can use MetalDate without it — it simply adds a verified badge to your profile so other people know you are a real person. You can skip it, and you can choose never to do it.

If you do choose to verify, this is exactly what happens:

• Face check: your browser records a short video of you following a few on-screen prompts — turning your head, blinking or nodding, and either a brief sequence of colours shown on your screen or a random word you read aloud. We take a few still images from that video and compare your face to the public selfies on your profile.

We guarantee that:

• The comparison runs on our own servers. Your face is never sent to a third-party face-recognition company.
• We do not create or keep a permanent “faceprint” or biometric template of you. Only the outcome of the comparison — scores and a pass or fail — is recorded.
• Your verification images and recordings are never shown to other users, and are never published, sold, or shared with anyone else.
• Only our moderators can view them, and only in order to review a verification.

How long we keep verification recordings:

We keep the recording of a face check so that a person can re-examine it later if there is reason to doubt it, and so that we can re-check past verifications when our fraud detection improves. That is what makes the verified badge meaningful over time. We will never keep it against your wishes — you can erase it yourself at any moment, and you do not need to delete your account to do so.

A verification recording is deleted:

• Whenever you ask. In your settings there is a button that erases your face-check recordings. It works whatever the outcome was — passed, not passed, or still awaiting review. If you were verified, you simply stop being verified.
• When you re-take the check. The recording of the previous attempt is erased.
• When you remove or change a public selfie that the check was matched against — this also removes your verified status, and the recording goes with it.
• When you delete your account, along with everything else, including any copy held on our private archive storage.

Verification recordings are stored on our own private, access-controlled storage. They are not reachable from the public internet. If you have questions about your verification data, you can contact us.

Cookies

We do not use any tracking cookies on MetalDate, so there is no need to request your consent for cookies. However, we do use essential cookies to enhance your experience on the site. These include:

• Preference Cookies: To remember your settings and preferences, such as sound settings or display options.
• Session Cookies: To keep track of your login status and identify you as a user or guest.

For guests, cookies are the only way to maintain access to their accounts, as guests do not have email addresses. These cookies are essential for the functionality of the site and are not used for tracking purposes.

Geographic Location

Your geographic location is not visible to other users. Instead, they can only see the approximate distance between you and them, rounded to the nearest 5 kilometers.

To protect your privacy:

• Users can only update their geographic location up to 3 times per day, preventing misuse to pinpoint your exact location.
• To further safeguard your privacy, we recommend using a general location, such as your city or postal code, rather than your exact street address.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads API to measure conversions on our site. When you complete certain actions (such as registration or purchase), we may send limited data to Google Ads, including order ID, conversion timestamp, and ad click identifiers (such as gclid, wbraid, or gbraid). This data is used solely for conversion measurement and not for campaign management or accessing your Google account data.

We retain conversion records for up to 12 months for reporting and auditing purposes. You may request deletion of your conversion data at any time by contacting us at admin@2meet4free.com.

Birthdate

Your birthdate is not displayed to other users. It is only used to determine whether you fall within the desired age range of other users during searches.

Even if someone adjusts their age to see if your profile appears in search results, they will only be able to infer your desired age range, not your actual age.
